Cycle of Creativity & Generosity
OUR VISION
Youth empowered to use the arts and generosity to find purpose, hope, and lead change
CA Non Profit Corporation - EST 2026
Our Mission
Cultivate compassionate youth leaders through creative arts and service that provide art kits and creative opportunities for children in foster care, transitional housing, and low-income families in Southern California.
Access to Creative Tools & Opportunities
Because organizations must prioritize housing, food, counseling, and other basic needs, art supplies and creative programs are often considered "wish list" items and rely on community donations.
Art & Hope
Research has shown that creative expression can support children who have experienced trauma or life’s stressors by providing a safe, nonverbal way to communicate emotions.
Art activities can help children:
Reduce stress and anxiety
Build emotional regulation skills
Increase confidence and self-esteem
Experience moments of joy and normalcy
Tool for service & leadership
Art is an accessible way for youth of all ages to serve others, using their creativity to share their talents, give generously, and become compassionate leaders.
Our HART:
A Cycle of
Creativity & Generosity for the Next Generation
Hart for Art Kits
We will provide quality art kits to our local community partners serving youth in foster care or shelters.
We believe every child deserves the healing power of art and opportunities for creative expression.
As we grow, we hope to provide art classes, camps, and creative experiences for youth who may not otherwise have access.
Youth Lead Events
“For Kids From Kids”
We will strive to involve youth from governance to spearhead events.
We will cultivate leadership skills like reflection and communication with a servant heart.
Events will include:
Hart for Art Exchange
Hart for Art Day of Service
Hart for Art Birthday Giving Program
Fundraising & More!
Leadership & Service
We equip youth volunteers with the skills and confidence to serve their peers with compassion, fostering belonging, leadership, and community impact.
Our hope is that those we serve will one day become volunteers themselves, creating a lasting cycle of creativity, healing, and generosity.
